I dealt with this exact problem last year, and the cleanest solution for me was using a ventilated TV cabinet. Many modern TV units have a rear cable pass-through and side vents, which are perfect for consoles. You can place the Xbox inside, leave the back slightly open, and still keep airflow intact.

Just make sure there’s at least 2–3 inches of space around the console for heat dissipation. Also, avoid stacking other electronics right on top of it. The Xbox will stay cool, and your living room won’t look like a gaming den.
