Classic problem 😄 and yes, WD-40 will usually fix it.

Best method: - Open the door halfway. - Place a cloth or paper towel under the hinge. - Lightly spray right at the hinge pin, not all over the hinge. - Swing the door back and forth to work it in.

You don’t have to remove the pin unless the squeak is really stubborn. Less spray is more — a quick burst is enough.
