Ibiza is an island located in the Mediterranean Sea, off the eastern coast of Spain. Politically, it’s part of the Balearic Islands, which also include Mallorca, Menorca, and Formentera. These islands fall under Spanish territory and governance, specifically within the autonomous community of the Balearic Islands. To get more specific, Ibiza lies about 150 kilometers (93 miles) east of Valencia on the Spanish mainland. It’s well connected by ferries and flights. Despite its relatively small size, Ibiza has global fame due to its music culture, beaches, and nightlife.
