Unfortunately, this is one of those annoying Workday limitations! There is no direct "Un-Withdraw" button once you've officially withdrawn an application in Workday. The system sees a withdrawn application as a final step for the candidate.

Your best course of action is to follow one of these two methods, which both involve the HR/Recruitment team:

  1. Re-Apply (If Possible): If the job posting is still open on the career site, you may be able to simply apply again. Workday usually allows you to re-apply if you withdrew your previous application.
  2. Contact HR/Recruiter Immediately: This is your most reliable solution. Get in touch with the recruiter or hiring manager immediately and explain what happened. They have the ability to either:
    • Reactivate Your Application: HR/Recruiting can sometimes use a "Reactivate Job Application" action in the backend of Workday from the candidate's profile.
    • Create a Copy: If reactivation fails, they can often create a copy of your original application and move that one forward in the process, effectively bypassing the withdrawn status.

Don't try to fix this yourself; reach out to the hiring team. They'll know the specific workarounds for their company's Workday setup.
