The numlock key is in different places on laptops. If you have a big number pad on the right side, the key is usually there. Look at the top corner, above the 7. On smaller laptops with no number pad, it is a shared key. You must press it with the Fn key. Check for 'Num Lk' written small on keys like F11, F12, or the Insert key. The writing is sometimes in a blue color.
