Not always. If a secret protects dignity or privacy, it can stay private. But if it hides harm (like abuse, violence, or fraud), then silence can be dangerous. Loyalty should not mean covering up wrongdoings. Secrets should be judged by their impact, not just tradition.

HDFC Bank requires customers to maintain an Average Monthly Balance (AMB) in their savings accounts. To check your AMB, the easiest method is through HDFC NetBanking. Log in, go to “Accounts,” then “Account Summary.” There you’ll see a tab for AMB where your required balance and maintained balance are displayed.
