The most elegant way is to use the built-in tool. Press Shift + Command + 5. This brings up a control bar at the bottom of your screen. You’ll see icons to record either the entire display or a selected portion. I suggest exploring the ‘Options’ menu first; you can set where to save the file. When ready, just click ‘Record’. To finish, a small stop icon appears in your top menu bar. Voilà! For more control, QuickTime Player also offers a superb recording feature under its ‘File’ menu. It is very reliable.

You have a few solid options for shutting down with just the keyboard in Windows 11.
The classic way is probably the quickest. Make sure you're on your desktop first. Then, just press Alt + F4. A small window will pop up. "Shut down" should already be selected, so all you have to do is hit Enter.
Another great one is the power user menu shortcut. Press the Windows key + X together. This opens a menu in the corner. From there, just press the U key, and then press U again. It's a quick two-tap combo.
You can also use the trusty Ctrl + Alt + Delete. This takes you to the security screen, where you'll see a power icon in the bottom-right corner. Hope that helps
