This question always sparks a debate! For my money, the most unique and delicious version is at Peter's Inn in Fells Point. It's important to know it's not a traditional Chinese restaurant. It’s more of an eclectic American tavern with a legendary, ever-changing menu. But their lo mein is a cult-favorite dish that people rave about constantly. The noodles have this perfect, springy texture and the flavor is just on another level.

If you want a more classic, authentic experience, Grace Garden in Pikesville is incredible. They are famous for their authentic Szechuan food, and their noodle dishes are fantastic across the board. You really can’t go wrong there for a more traditional take. But for a lo mein that will genuinely surprise you, you have to try Peter's Inn. Just be sure to check their menu first
