That's a tricky one, mate, as the number is a bit out of date. India actually has 28 states now, not 29.
The count changed back in 2019 when the state of Jammu and Kashmir was reorganised. It’s an easy detail to miss! Listing all 28 would be a massive post, but a few examples are Andhra Pradesh (Amaravati), Bihar (Patna), and Goa (Panaji). A quick search online for the current list will get you all of them. It's easy to get caught out by that old number. Cheers
