This new feature in Oracle 12C changes behavior of calling functions within views. DEFINER If you specify BEQUEATH DEFINER , then functions referenced by the view are executed using the view definer's rights. SQL> Remember, BEQUEATH DEFINER is the same as not including the BEQUEATH clause. BEQUEATH Views Oracle Database 12 c introduces BEQUEATH.
