The institute will declare the result of CS Executive June session exams soon after the exams online on the official website. Successful candidates will be able to register for CS Professional programme.

ICSI has released the CS Executive admit card for June 2023 session in online mode on May 22, 2023. The admit card for CS Executive June 2023 session has been released in online mode.

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of India for reciprocal exemption of papers to each other's students.

The ICSI has notified that candidates who have registered under old syllabus (2017) can now switch to the new CS Executive syllabus (2022) comprising 7 subjects. Candidates should refer to the new syllabus while preparing for the examination. The first examination under ICSI CS Executive's new syllabus will be held in December 2023.

Students should note that they can purchase the study material required for new CS Executive syllabus from the headquarter or regional office of the institute. Students should also note that a reverse switch is not permissible.

The institute has announced the CS Executive result date for December 2022 session. CS Executive result for December 2022 session was announced on February 25, at 2 pm. Whereas, the CS Professional result was announced at 11 pm.

CS Executive December 2023 - The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) will conduct the CS Executive 2023 exam in December 2023, in offline mode. Candidates can register for both the modules of CS Executive Dec 2023 session till June 31, 2023. Registrations for a single module of CS Executive Dec 2023 can be done till July 31, 2023.

The second level of the Company Secretary programme is called CS Executive. The first level is CS Foundation/CSEET, whereas, the third and final level is CS Professional programme. ICSI keeps the CS Executive registrations open throughout the year. Candidates who have passed CSEET exams can register for CS Executive Programme. While filling out the exam form, candidates have to select the preferred exam centre for CS Executive exams out of 150+ given exam centres.

It should be noted that the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) conducts the national-level CS Executive exams in offline mode twice a year: One in June and then again in December.

ICSI has divided the CS Executive exam into Module I and Module II. On the basis of their preference, candidates have the option to appear in either of the modules individually or all together. The CS executive exam (new scheme) consists of a total of 8 papers; whereas, in the old scheme, there are 7 papers.

To qualify CS Executive exam level, candidates need to secure a minimum of 40% marks in each paper and an aggregate of 50% in all papers (single/ both modules).

CS Executive is the second stage to clear for becoming CS i.e., Company secretary. After the completion of CS Foundation Course (First Stage), there are two more courses to be completed to become CS which are CS Executive & CS Professional. So, the second stage is the CS Executive.

Students can apply for the executive program through the CS foundation route or direct entry route provided by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. For the direct route, the student must have cleared the graduation in commerce, or CMA foundation program, or CA foundation program to register for the executive level.

To appear for the executive program exams, the student must have cleared the Student Induction Program (SIP). Also, they have successfully completed a computer training program as may be specified from time to time by the Council. The institute has not described any age limit to appear in the CS executive program.

Go through those study materials along with some reference books as recommended by experts. Conceptual understanding and correlations among various topics are the best strategies you can adopt while preparing for theoretical topics because everything is correlated.  Don’t focus on memorizing, but understanding and analyzing the topic.

While studying the chapters make short and handy notes of the topics. This will not only help in noting down the important points but also help in remembering the topics for the future. Keep a small notebook handy while studying a new chapter. Focus on writing for theoretical subjects. It will not only improve the writing speed but also help remember the topics easily. Practice as much as you can before the exams, do the writing instead of just learning formulas.

Prepare a timetable or study routine so that all the CS Syllabus is covered within a given time period. It is necessary to dedicate most of the time to CS Executive exam preparation. The aim should be to complete one chapter at a time. After doing that, refer to the practice manual, scanner, and gauge if the coverage is maximum.
