In team sports, a shutout (US) or clean sheet (UK) is a game in which one team prevents the other from scoring any points. A cleansheet, in Association Football (Soccer) is when the team does not concede a goal in a match, however long the match is, be it 90 or 120 minutes. When a team keeps a “clean sheet”, it simply means they have not conceded any goals in the game. While this betting market is primarily associated with football matches, it is also possible to find clean sheet markets in field hockey and ice hockey. ✅ A clean sheet is awarded for not conceding a goal whilst on the field and playing at least 55 minutes.
