What is difference between diploma and degree?

A degree takes more time than a diploma. A diploma is for a specific job or skill. Like for being a mechanic or a medical assistant. It is very focused. You learn just what you need for that job. It's usually shorter, maybe one or two years.

A degree is from a college or university. A bachelor's degree is like four years. You study one main subject. But you also study other things, like history and science. So, a diploma is faster and for a special skill. A degree is longer and gives a more wide education.
