Grid computing is the use of widely distributed computer resources to reach a common goal. Grid Computing is a subset of distributed computing, where a virtual super computer comprises of machines on a network connected by some bus. Grid computing is the use of widely distributed computer resources to reach a common goal. Grid computing is made up of applications used for computational computer problems that are connected in a parallel networking environment. Grid computing is the practice of leveraging multiple network computers, often geographically distributed, to work together to accomplish joint tasks. At its most basic level, grid computing is a computer network in which each computer's resources are shared with every other computer in the system.
