Active voice is pretty straightforward. The subject is the one doing the action. For example, "The team won the game."

Passive voice is the other way around. The subject receives the action. So you'd say, "The game was won by the team." You can also leave out who did it, like "The game was won." It's really about what part of the sentence you want to focus on, the doer or the receiver.
