What is needed to become a pilot?

To become a pilot is a lot of work! First, you must have very good health. You need a special medical exam from an approved doctor. Also, there is an age minimum, maybe 17 or 18 years old to start.

You should be good in school subjects like math and physics. Then, you find a flight school. You will do many hours of flying with an instructor. You also have ground school to learn theory. You must pass written exams and then a final flight test. It is also very important to speak English well for international flying.
