What is the age limit for railway jobs after 12th pass?

For most railway clerical and apprentice jobs, age limit is 18–30 years. Relaxation is provided to OBC, SC, ST, and ex-servicemen candidates as per government norms.

In my case, I applied for Railway TC post at age 23. It was valid since general limit was 30. Always check each notification because age limits change slightly for different posts.

Some apprentice programs have lower age limit, around 24 years. Technical jobs also have stricter limits. So check carefully before applying.
