What is the best ePub reader for the Mac?
It's in the iBooks! It is available for the Mac with the Mavericks update.By the way.Mavericks is a free upgrade to OS X.
The Barnes & Noble was the best reader for Mac.Surprisingly few people knew about it.It's no longer available for download. The good news is that B&N now has a completely redesigned Nook reader for the Mac which is 100 times better than all the ones out there.Take a look at the website at http://www.barnesandnoble.com/u/nook-for-mac/.
I think Book Reader is great, but not perfect.
They are not good. They don't have rendering engines that much, and they have a bunch of regexes that were hacked together in a drunken weekend.Kovid Goyal spoke about the program at the Internet Archive's e-text conference a couple of months ago, and I think he is on the right path.I hope that Apple will produce something soon. It's odd that one can store and organize EPUBs, but not read them.I think they're going to give a reader soon.
