What is the best operating system for a computer?

I've been using the same operating system on my laptop and server for over a decade.I've tried to switch to other distributions but always found Ubuntu to be the easiest to use.It works, gives you Gnome 3, I like it more when I use it switched from Unity and has a fantastic package management.It's hard to beat the resources that Canonical has to push.

Mint is the hot riser at the moment.People seem to be more fond of Mint these days than they were in the past.
OpenSuSE is better with KDE.
I prefer CentOS for non GUI server, though it is very popular.
