The most common collective noun for wolves is a 'pack'. I reckon 'a pack of wolves' is the one that everyone knows and uses.
It’s a proper good word for them, I think. It makes you picture them all living and hunting together as a family unit. I have also read that 'a rout of wolves' is another term you can use, but it sounds a bit old fashioned to me. Honestly, you will almost always hear people say 'pack'.
