Mysteries get marked by blue icons on the world map automatically when synchronizing the viewpoints. Mysteries are side quests and other open world encounters. Finishing all Mysteries is needed to complete all Territories for the Completionist All the Way! trophy or achievement.

Also in this region:

This Mystery can be triggered under ground. 30 meters east of the mystery icon, is a hole in a rock you can shoot an arrow through to destroy a crate on the other side (image below). Then, go to the other side and move the obstacle. Upon entering the cave you should hear a Monk speak. He mentions Chertsey Abbey. This is where we need to go, which is north from where you are (it’s named on the map when you zoom in, 340 meters north). Now return to the cave and he should be there waiting for you to kill him. Killing him completes this Mystery. There is a chance that he will spawn right away and attack you without going to the Abbey, in this case just kill him and it will complete the mystery instantly.

Talk to the woman. She wants to go to a rock and your job is to protect her from danger on your way there. Shoot any wolf coming at you. It turns out that “The Rock” is a man. Once you reach the top, this Mystery will end.

When you arrive at this Mystery’s location, a man is ranting about someone getting lost somewhere north. Very close to the Mystery’s location is a sheep on a rock being hunted by some wolves. Kill the wolves and then use your whistle to have the sheep follow you. Return the sheep to its master and after an unexpected turn of events, this Mystery will end.

Kill the Goliath.

When you get to this Mystery’s location, you should see a bonfire. Someone is also speaking. Use your Odin’s Sight to identify a second bonfire nearby. Keep following the bonfires until you’ll eventually meet a man you can talk to. When you’re given a dialogue option, you can either choose to kill the bandit or give him a tip. Choosing either will end this Mystery.

When you get to this Mystery’s location, you should see a small cave entrance and a child’s voice in the distance. Enter the cave, pick up the girl and carry her outside to end this Mystery.

When you get to this Mystery’s location, you should see a series of tree structures. Make your way to the one where the Mystery marker is and interact with the kid. He asks for a password. Choose Raven and then talk to the girl. Choose any dialogue option and buy it. Repeat for all purchasable options. One of the items you will receive is a Treasure Hoard Map.

Kill the big bull. Take care of the other bulls if necessary.

Untie the woman at the location and talk to her. At the bottom of the lake, right in front of the Mystery’s starting location, between some driftwood, is a shipwreck. Interact with the item at the bottom and then return to the daughter and the father. Give what you’ve found to Griseld and her dad and this will end the Mystery.

To complete this Mystery you need 50 Leather. These are easily found in small chests that are mostly found in towns and are earned by killing animals.

Here’s the solution.

Defeat the horde of enemies.

Complete the platforming challenge.

Enter the mine from the entrance up the stairs. Blow up the wall and continue further on until you can slide under a crevice on your left. Move the platform to easily access the ladder and climb up. In the new area, go right and shoot the lock from the ladder. Climb up and continue on. Eventually, you’ll get to a zipline. Ride it to get to a new area with a wall you can blow up with either an Incendiary Arrow (Ability #27: Incendiary Powder Trap) or one of the oil jars in the area. Continue on the only path until you get to a big, wooden wheel. Dive into the water and continue on. You will resurface in the tablet area.

That’s 100% of the Mysteries you can find in Suthsexe Region of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla (ACV).

For all other Mysteries check out the complete Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Mysteries Guide. For the other Collectibles in this region check out the Wealth Guide and Artifacts Guide.

DESIZING MACHINE OPERATOR HEAD END
Answer # 3 #

The first phase of the fight with Fulke will involve her running through the darkness and attacking you by surprise. Once she’s in the light, she will stay there most of the time, and you’ll have an opportunity to hit her with a combination of light and heavy attacks. Don’t get greedy though: she will perform a block that you won’t be able to strike through if you attack too often. Instead, you’ll need to create some space from her to reset her stance to neutral.

Most of Fulke’s attacks can be blocked or parried, but you’ll need to watch out for her red rune aura attacks. When you see these, dodge, roll, or run out of the way, as you won’t be able to block or parry them. When Fulke initiates a special attack, this is a perfect time to dodge (especially if you have the Brush with Death skill), allowing you to target her back and hit the weak point there. Her other weak point can be found on her right foot.

Every so often, Fulke will retreat back into the darkness and attempt to flank you. Keep an eye on the boundary of the light when she does this, and you should be able to see glimpses of her movements to get an idea of where she might emerge. If you do get hit by surprise from the dark for a high amount of damage, try to retaliate as soon as possible if you have the Grit skill, as this will replenish the health you’ve lost from the last hit.

Fulke will sometimes stop in the darkness and attempt to throw a fire bomb at you, but this will be indicated by a red mark on the screen, similar to the one which appears when you’re about to be hit by a missile. The fire bombs can be dodged fairly easily, just make sure you perform the dodge or roll at the moment that Fulke throws the bomb.

Another option in terms of identifying the location of Fulke is to hold a torch in one hand. This will not only light the area around you, but it will also apply fire damage over time to Fulke upon a successful hit. You won’t be able to see much further than a few metres in front of you with the torch, though.

The first phase of the fight will end when Fulke is brought down to between about half and a quarter of her health. At this point a cutscene will begin, and you’ll need to chase Fulke up the steps outside.

This second phase of the fight is shorter than the first. You’ll find that Fulke now has weak points on her right foot and back again. If you manage to hit both of these and perform a stun attack, most of her health should be depleted by that time. It’s a good idea to at least try to hit these weak points from a distance while you still have arrows.

Whether you perform a stun attack or gradually bring Fulke down with regular light and heavy attacks, you should find this phase of the fight much easier. Fulke will be slower while wielding the large cumbersome cross, but if she does land a hit it will deplete your health significantly.

When you see a blue rune above Fulke’s head, and her cross highlighted in the same color, don’t approach her during this time. If you do, you won’t be able to break through the defence stance and you’ll succumb to a surprise attack which can inflict a significant amount of damage.

Use our maps to find the locations of every Nickel Ingots, Cargo, Ability, Gear, World Event, Offering Altar, Fly Agaric Hallucination Challenge, Flyting, Treasure of Britain, Roman Artifact, Cursed Symbol, Flying Paper, Rigsogur Fragment, and Treasure Hoard Map in the region.

There are 4 Gear and Ability Wealth locations, 14 Mysteries, and 13 Artifacts in Suthsexe.

There are 4 Wealth locations in Suthsexe that are Abilities and Gear. We’ve broken them up into regions based (roughly) on the closest settlement or named region.

By this point in the game, you can purchase ingots from most shops, so we’ll show their locations on the map, but won’t walk you through collecting them. Once you build the Cartographer’s shop in Ravensthorpe, you can buy maps to all ingots as well. And since Cargo is always in Raid locations, we’ll let you collect those on your own as well.

At the northernmost point of Suthsexe, find an ivy-covered tower. Climb up the side and shoot through the window to drop the net. Go back to the bottom, enter the tower, and shoot down the ladder. Climb to the top and collect the Blinding Rush Book of Knowledge (which, unlike many others, is not on a pedestal — it’s just a book).

At the northwest end of the island of Briggworth, climb to the top of the castle. When you reach the very top of the keep, you will see a barred door. Climb on top of the room and move the moveable shelf to the right. Enter the room and drop down to claim the Incendiary Powder Trap Book of Knowledge.

At the tower at the southeast edge of Guildford, take the lift up the scaffolding. Shoot the platform out and enter the building through the window. Once inside, break the wooden panel in the floor to drop down to the ground floor. Walk to the next room and break the crates on the left in front of the moveable shelf. Move the shelf to enter a room with a chest containing the Mentor’s Robes.

Kill the Murderer, loot the Anderitum Camp Key, and descend the stairs. Open the door and follow the tunnel to an open room. Dispatch the single guard there. Grab an explosive pot. Carry it to the west side of the room and through the whole in the wall. Use it to destroy the breakable wall and follow the resulting tunnel until you come to a wall with a hole covered by breakable boards. Shoot them out then climb through to find a chest containing the Mentor’s Vambrace.

There are 14 Mystery locations in Suthsexe, including things like World Events, Cairns, Fly Agaric Hallucination Challenges, and a Legendary Animal. We’ve broken them up into regions based (roughly) on the closest settlement or named region.

Come to a stop on the west side of a hill and you will hear a voice. If you drop down and attempt to move the shelf to enter the cave, you won’t be able to budge it. So, head to the east side, look through the crack in the wall and shoot the box blocking the shelf. Circle back to the west side and move the shelf to take the key. Exit the cave and you will be attacked by a Mad Monk. Defeat him to complete “A Prayer for Vengeance” World Event.

At the marker, find a woman quarreling with her husband. Walk with her and fight off the wolves you encounter along the road. Keep walking until you reach a large, arched boulder to conclude the “Rock of Fertility” World Event.

At Tuicca’s Farm, get ready to fight a giant bull and its gang of smaller bulls. This fight is pretty difficult, but we had the most luck when we shot the Battle-Sow’s weak spots right away to drop its defenses, and then took out each of the smaller bulls one at a time. If you don’t take them out, it’s easy for the smaller bulls to team up on you. Finish the fight to complete the Aelfred’s Battle-Sow Legendary Animal challenge.

Come to a field of burning hay effigies near a big tree. Kill the Goliath sitting on the hay throne adjacent to the tree and use your torch or flaming arrows to burn down his hay throne, completing the “King of the Hay People” World Event.

At the marker, the world will get smoky and dark. Use your Odin’s Sight to travel from campfire to campfire until you reach the tricksters responsible. Give them advice or fight them to complete the “Will o’ the Wisp” World Event.

Travel to the marker where you will find a man calling for his sheep, Fenton, who is in the nearby woods. Run to Fenton, who is stranded on a rock, and protect him from wolves. After the wolves are dead, whistle like you’re calling your mount and lead Fenton back to his owner to complete the “Eivor the Sheepdog” World Event.

On the west bank of Embert River, just south of Briggworth, find a young woman bound by ropes. Untie her, and dive to the bottom of the lake to retrieve Viking Ship Rope from among a shipwreck. Take it back to the girl and speak to her to complete the “Aflanc the Terrible” World Event.

Interact with the Fly Agaric mushrooms just south of the Long Man of Wilmington warrior etched into the hill. This will summon five animals (and as you fight, Jotun giants). Defeat them all to complete the Suthsexe Fly Agaric Hallucination Challenge.

To the south of the tower near Guildford, find a cave where you will hear a child calling for help. Drop down, pick her up, and carry her out to complete the “Alisa in Wunderlandscire” World Event.

South of the tower near Guildford, find a colorful treehouse. Climb up and speak to the child blocking the entrance and give the password (we selected “Apple”) and the child will let you in. Speak to the merchant child and buy everything they’re selling to complete the “Tiny Black Market” World Event.

At a cliff to the east of the river that halves Suthsexe, find rocks and stack them into a cairn. You can stack all but one horizontally. The last one you’ll need to stack vertically in order to achieve the height required to complete the High Rocks Cairn.

At the Saint Leonard’s Altar, which is tucked away beneath a cliff south of Crawleah, offer 50 leather. If you’ve been hunting at all, this should be one of the easier offerings to hit.

To get to this one you mostly just need to follow the tunnel . When you come to the room with the waterwheel, dive into the water and follow the tunnel for a really long time. Once you reach the end, you’ll find an item surrounded by stalagmites. Grab it to complete the Treasures of Britain Santlache Mine.

At the southernmost point of Suthsexe, interact with the Animus Anomaly at the top of a sheer cliff overlooking the sea. When it begins, slide down the long blue block, making sure to avoid the red energy blocks.

At the bottom of the first slide, turn right onto another, shorter slide, but jump to the next block before you reach the end. Climb up the blue blocks, past the light blue block, and manipulate the beam so that it hits the gray block below while it’s in its middle position.

Slide down the blue block and jump to the gray block, being careful to avoid the red hazard. From there, jump to the next blue slide, and steer yourself between the two columns of shifting red hazards.

Turn left and twist around until you reach the blue balance beam suspended through red hazards. The timing for this is tricky, but if you position the camera above Layla for the first and to her side for the second, it will help you more easily measure the distance.

After you complete the balance beam, jump to the slide. It may take some trial and error to make sure you jump on at the right time to avoid all of the hazards.

At the beams of light, position the first so that it’s at its highest position, which will allow you to jump to it without taking damage.

Drop down and position the second so that it is low enough that you can jump to it from the blue block. Once you’ve done this, it’s a straight shot to the exit to complete the Seven Sisters Animus Anomaly.
