Which is better for a 12th pass student: government job or private sector job?

Government jobs offer stability, pensions, and fixed working hours. For a 12th pass, getting into government may take preparation time. Private jobs are easier to get, but salary may be low and growth slow. I personally feel government jobs are better in the long term.

I believe both have pros and cons. If you can dedicate 1–2 years, try government exams like SSC, Railways. If you can’t afford waiting, start a private job but continue preparing. This way, you have income and also a chance for future stability.

Private sector jobs are quick to join after 12th. Call centers, retail jobs, and delivery work are common. You start earning early. Government jobs take time to crack because of competition. So if you need instant income, private is practical choice.
