Good Morning Britain have confirmed ITV regular Martin Lewis will be taking on the role of regular co-host on the early morning news show.
The programme has been rotating a range of guest presenters working alongside Susanna Reid ever since her former co-star Piers Morgan quit the show back in 2021.
However, GMB have now revealed the 'Money Saving Expert' is stepping into the role as a regular host on a variety of Wednesdays throughout the year.

Sharing his excitement to join the show in a more permanent position, Lewis confessed he's "delighted" to land the job working alongside Reid.
"To have the ability to hold politicians to account, over the cost of living, is a privilege and a responsibility," he said in a statement. "It's a slight gear change from my usual work, but after years of answering complex questions, it's nice for once to be asking them. So I was delighted when ITV offered me the role of regular presenter.
"The difficulty came with working it around my day-job, as Money Saving Expert, which is always my priority," he explained. "So I'm hopeful the solution we've come up with, to lock in a dozen special shows a year, sitting alongside Susanna Reid's brilliant journalism, is one the show's viewers will welcome."

Reid also weighed in on the news, sharing her thoughts on Lewis becoming a regular member of the GMB team.
"Martin Lewis is undoubtedly the voice of the nation when it comes to the cost of living crisis," she commented. "Together we will continue to challenge politicians and hold them to account. I can't wait to have him sitting next to me again at the GMB desk from next week."
The news comes after Reid celebrated a significant milestone in her television career. On Wednesday's (March 22) instalment of GMB, the presenter reflected on her past as she celebrated reaching 20 years on breakfast TV.
Good Morning Britain airs on ITV.
Martin Lewis, Richard Madeley, Adil Ray, Ed Balls and Robert Rinder have all become part of the show's roster of male hosts taking on the main gig. But this week, a new face is being added to the mix.

Of his new role, Gordon commented: "‘I'm thrilled to be joining the amazing stable of talent, in front and behind the camera, on Good Morning Britain. So many of the issues facing the country right now are close to home and I’m relishing the chance to join the debate."
Before he makes his debut, Good Morning Britain will return live on Wednesday (December 28) following a brief Christmas break and will be presented by Charlotte and Rob Rinder. I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here’s Scarlette Douglas will also be joining the team as she steps in for Richard Arnold.

This is a list of the on-air team members for the ITV Breakfast programme Good Morning Britain which began broadcasting in the United Kingdom on 28 April 2014.
Good Morning Britain launched on 28 April 2014 following the cancellation of Daybreak with seven main presenters – Susanna Reid, Kate Garraway, Ben Shephard, Charlotte Hawkins, Ranvir Singh, Sean Fletcher and John Stapleton, with weather bulletins presented by Laura Tobin, entertainment news delivered by Richard Arnold and sports news presented by Fletcher.
Reid, Shephard and Hawkins all presented four days a week, with Fletcher presenting every day, Stapleton presenting every Wednesday, Garraway presenting every Thursday and Singh presenting every Friday. Garraway and Singh also acted as relief presenters.
In January 2015, the show's format changed to featuring just two main presenters with one newsreader. Shephard and Reid remained the main presenters with Reid continuing to present everyday except Friday and Shephard continuing to present everyday except Wednesday. Garraway began presenting on Wednesdays and Fridays while also taking the newsreader position on Mondays and Tuesdays. Stapleton read the news on Wednesdays with Singh taking the position on Thursdays and Fridays. Fletcher acted as a relief presenter and newsreader.
In June 2015, following a six-month absence due to maternity leave, Hawkins returned to the show as a newsreader Monday-Wednesday and also acts as a main presenter in the absence of Reid, Shephard or Garraway.
In September 2015, Shephard reduced his weekly appearances to two, presenting on Thursdays and Fridays. Garraway then presented everyday except Thursday until Piers Morgan joined the show as a main presenter alongside Reid presenting Monday-Wednesday in November of the same year. This presenting line up of Morgan, Reid, Shephard and Garraway then remained the same until March 2021, when Morgan left the program due to comments he made about Meghan Markle. He was replaced by a series of guest and relief presenters including Richard Madeley and Adil Ray, who had first appeared on the show in 2017 and 2018 respectively.
From March to July 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, sister show Lorraine was cancelled so presenter Lorraine Kelly joined as the host of the new fourth hour of Good Morning Britain.
In June 2021, Martin Lewis joined the show as a guest presenter, followed by Ed Balls in November 2021, with them both becoming part of a team of presenters rotating to replace Piers’ former slot, alongside Madeley, who signed a £300,000 contract the same month to become a permanent presenter. Robert Rinder also joined as a relief presenter. Madeley, Balls and Lewis continue to present on a rotational basis.
