Who was the most powerful king in the world?

That's a tough one. It really depends on what you mean by "powerful." Is it having the most land, the most money, or the most control?

Many people say Louis XIV of France. He was called the Sun King and had total power in his country. France was very strong in Europe when he was king. But then you think about someone like Genghis Khan. He wasn't a king, more like an emperor, but he built the biggest land empire in history. His armies were almost unstoppable. I also read about Mansa Musa in Africa, who was so rich he might be the wealthiest person ever.

So, I don't think there is one single answer. It depends on what kind of power you think is most important.
