Why are utensils made up of aluminium and brass?

Utensils are made of aluminium because it is lightweight, conducts heat quickly, and is affordable. This makes cooking faster and energy-efficient. Aluminium doesn’t rust, though it can react with acidic foods, which is why many modern utensils are anodized to prevent this.
