Why srilanka banned by icc?

Basically, the ICC suspended them, it wasn't a proper ban on the players. It was all about the Sri Lankan government getting involved with their cricket board. After a bad World Cup, their sports minister sacked the whole board. The ICC has a big rule against this. They say governments must not meddle with how cricket is run. So, the ICC stepped in and suspended Sri Lanka Cricket to stop this interference. The good news is the suspension has been lifted now, so it's all sorted.
