Why was kezia afraid of her father class 9?

Kezia was afraid because her father was a very big man. For a small girl, he was like a giant. He had big hands and a hard voice. He never played with her. He was always working or giving orders.

The biggest reason was one time she made a mistake. She wanted to make a birthday gift for him. She tore his important papers to put inside a cushion. He got so, so angry. He hit her little hands with a ruler. After this, she was very terrified of him. He was not like other fathers who played with their children.
