Will Google Gemini Nano replace Google Assistant on Android devices?

My guess: - Short time = both will stay. - Long time = Gemini become new Assistant. Google always want shiny new name.

Google like to change apps again and again. Maybe one day they merge Assistant and Gemini. Now we can see only demo. I feel slowly Google will push Gemini more and make Assistant less important.

No, not replace. But it will add extra functions. Assistant do basic things. Gemini do AI creative things.

I don't think it replace fully. Assistant still useful for voice command like "open camera" or "set alarm". Nano is more for writing and smart reply. Maybe in future they combine both into one.
