will isiah pacheco play?
In Washington, Antonio Gibson seems like the running back you want, but he can still eat up a Houston run defense that has allowed 464 rushing yards and four touchdown in the last three weeks. The Texans have allowed the most FPPG to running backs in the league.
Cordarrelle Patterson (vs. Bears) got stuck in a jam in Week 10, but we have to believe the veteran will be the workhorse again now that he's back to health and is facing a very beatable Chicago career D. Tyler Allgeier is on the flex radar against a Bears defense that allows the third most FPPGs to RBs, but he and Caleb Huntley left us largely uninspired. On the other side of that game, Chicago RB David Montgomery (@Falcons) should also be a stud this week due to running mate Khalil Herbert suffering a hip injury in Week 10, so Monty could have a job against an Atlanta D that allowed D'Onta Foreman and the Panthers to rack up 232 yards and two rushing TDs.
If Herbert plays, they're both worthwhile.
The same goes for the Dallas duo if he plays.
We like Tony Pollard more, but we always like to bet on goal-line touches. We can be convinced by both of them, despite the fact that D'Andre Swift is better suited for fantasy than Jamaal Williams.
Williams is destined to be the goal line man. You can try Latavius Murray and Melvin Gordon, but they have low ceilings.
We're not excited about the Packers facing Tennessee. Jones is still a must-play, but Dillon is a deep league flex. We like Isiah Pacheco in Kansas City because he is closer to being discarded than starting, but we also like him because of the favorable opponent.
In Week 10, Pacheco had a good flurry and could see more work on the passing game in the high- scoring game.
There are some types that make us doubt. The Jets had two weeks to prepare for this game and the Pats had two weeks to prepare for them, but Michael Carter was their man.
If possible, steer clear of James Robinson. We still have reservations against the 49ers because they have a D who eatsRBs like my daughter eats apples.
The Niners and Pats had the lowest FPPGs allowed to backs. The Rams' backfield mess against the Saints is very dangerous.
The Kansas City Chiefs took Rutgers running back Isiah Pacheco in the NFL draft in 2022. The final pick, Mr. Irrelevant, Brock Purdy, was the former Rutgers player.
Pacheco is a New Jersey native who attended college in New Jersey.
During his four years with head coaches Chris Ash and then Greg Schiano, Pacheco rushed the ball 563 times for 2,422 yards and scored 18 rushing touchdowns. He had 47 catches for 249 yards.
His year-by-year output was similar.
Isiah Pacheco went to the combine after his senior year and did well. He ran a 4.37 40-yard dash and was a tall man.
Pacheco was almost out of the draft before the Chiefs selected him with the 30th pick in the final round.
Isiah Pacheco arrived at the camp with no expectations. The chances of him making the team were slim because he was on the depth chart with other players.
Pacheco ran, caught and kicked the kick return. He has 16 carries for 66 yards and three catches in three preseason games. The numbers don't jump off the page, but they do show that Pacheco will play a lot in the regular season.
The Kansas City Chiefs took Rutgers running back Isiah Pacheco in the NFL draft in 2022. The final pick, Mr. Irrelevant, was 11 spots ahead of the former Rutgers player.

Pacheco almost fell out of the draft before the Chiefs selected him with the 30th overall pick in the final round.
It is the most interesting option to play this week because the next two who have the option to start, rest.
Jeff Wilson has started two weeks in a row. Against the Browns, he ran for 118 yards and a touchdown. He is a starting running back and you rarely find them on waivers at this time of the year.
Fournette was injured in Germany. White has been showing for weeks that he is a better option on the ground, so they would have 15 days of rest. It's a good reason to take him and wait a week on the bench after he had over 100 yards against Seattle.
Isiah Pacheco is the only one who has been running in KC for several weeks.
He made a mistake, but it came from his participation and first time above 50%. The running back from one of the best offenses in the league could do worse than that. The ground strainers of the Chargers can help.
On Monday, we saw how Brian Robinson can be the main runner, but it depends on the script of the game being favorable because he does not participate by pass. His 86 yards and the number of carries he received stood out.
One of the worst title defenses in history is being put together by the champion.
It remains to look for pieces for the future, and the second back in the backfield, Williams, was finally healthy. He should see more action in the last month and a half of the season because he catches passes. Maybe it will be different in the playoffs.
Broker motto: advance purchases.
The weekly insistence is advance purchases. The weekly rundown of widely available backup running backs (not Kareem Hunt and others who are on rosters per se): Jaylen Warren (Steelers), Mark Ingram (Saints), Alexander Mattison (Vikings), Matt Breida (Giants), Samaje Perine ( Bengals), Dontrell Hilliard (Titans), Zamir White (Raiders), JaMycal Hasty (Jaguars), Malik Davis (Cowboys, in which Zeke returns), Kenneth Gainwell (Eagles)
He looked like an injury risk every time he went down, but he blew up. Yes, the 3 touchdown's are nice, but what stands out to me is Rodgers' 8 of 20 attempts, including the dropped pass early.
Did you know that DPJ hasn't dropped below 9 points since Week 3? Did you know he is going against the Bills?
Did you know that Deshaun Watson is coming in 15 days?
The rookies were the favorite in the preseason. He has played in at least four games of 14 points or more. The schedule looks good, with the exception of two in dome. It's not the worst option to get around the byes.
Ju-Ju was injured and played less than 50% of the time. His role should increase over the next few weeks.
Josh Palmer was the only player in the game who saw 8 passes his way and he finished with 7.4 points. Not fatal but not good. The Kansas City team is less complicated on defense. It should be a good flex if Mike Williams and Keenan Allen are still out.
Even without Kyler, Rondale Moore caught 9 passes for his fourth game in a row with double-digit points.
The Azteca against the Niners is not the best, but it serves to be a flex.
The perennial promise at Indy had his second game of the year with over 20 points. Both were in the last two games of Ice's career. Indy doesn't come out of a dome until 17th of July.
You might have a flex in that time, fingers crossed.
The weekly reminder that someone has to catch passes in New York and he may not be a sexy option, but he has four of the last five games in double digits in points, and he has been doing that. Kenny Golladay is buried on the bench and the only one he's competing with is Wan'Dale Robinson.
With Cooper Kupp out for a couple of weeks, Allen Robinson has to catch passes for the Rams.
Treylon Burks (Titans, 22.1%): They rushed their recovery and came back with just 24 yards, but there are matchups coming up against more intimidating offenses (Packers, Bengals, Eagles, Jaguars, Chargers) where they might need to throw a lot more and someone has to catch passes in Tennessee.
Jeff Saturday grabbed everyone on the curve and put Matt Ryan back in the starting position. He scored 22.68 points despite giving up 9.8 on the ground.
He averaged 15 points in three home games, but against Philly he might have to throw more. There are not many options for the same and the charm ends.
39 quarterbacks have at least one 220-yard game this year; Danny Dimes is not one of them. Even though the ceiling is low, he runs and protects the ball, which raises the floor. Detroit is one of the worst defenses in the league.
Russell Wilson (Broncos, 49.8%): maybe they threw him out in your league because he has looked horrible, but he's going against the Raiders at home, who average 22.28 points against the rival QB and his best game of the year was in Las Vegas, the last time he played they saw the faces.
Another quarterback who throws less volume, but contributes on the ground with 24 yards in each of his last six games is Marcus Mariota.
Debuts in 15 days for Deshaun.
Understandable if you take him off the roster.
Cole Kmet has scored 5 times in the last three weeks. Justin Fields trusts him.
It pays to trust in a position like this.
