Does affiliate marketing work better on YouTube or on blogs?

For me it’s the opposite. I earn more through niche blogs than YouTube. Why? Because blog posts rank for years on Google if you do SEO properly. My best article from 2019 still brings daily sales. YouTube videos need constant updates, thumbnails, and comments management. It depends on your strengths – writing or video.

I’ve tried both, and honestly, YouTube wins for me. Videos let you show the product, demonstrate how it works, and build trust faster. People buy after watching real reviews. Blogs are good for SEO and long-tail keywords, but YouTube’s engagement is unmatched. Ideally, do both: write a blog and embed your video. Double exposure.
