How do you celebrate birthdays with family traditions?

In my family, we plant a tree every birthday. It started as a small idea but now has become a tradition we love. Each tree grows as the person grows, symbolizing life. It feels very meaningful compared to only blowing candles.

We keep a ritual of starting the day with blessings from elders. Then we cook the birthday person’s favorite dish together. At night, instead of a big party, we share stories of their childhood. These traditions make birthdays feel warm and deeply personal.
