How do you manage disagreements about parenting with your own parents?

I try to include my parents in small roles like storytelling or playtime. This makes them feel valued without letting them control my parenting. Involving them positively reduces conflicts about differences in opinion.

When my parents advise me about raising my kids, I listen respectfully but don’t always follow. I say, “Thank you for your advice, but I prefer this way.” This keeps peace while maintaining my parenting style. Arguing only creates tension.
