How to enter gyldenhul barrow?

"Explore Gyldenhul Barrow" is an objective in the side quest "Deathbrand" in Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - Dragonborn.

With the key that has been found in the Ancient Chest, it is time to head to Horker Island on the Eastern side of the Island. Head to the Horker Island and go to the barrow on its Nothwestern coast. This will lead you to Gyldenhul Barrow.

Just outside the barrow you will encounter a Reaver Lord and a Reaver Marauder. Without the key, getting inside requires picking a Master Difficulty lock.

Immediately inside you will find a dead Adventurer who has the Deathbrand book on them on the Torn Note. Reading the note hints at a hidden passage out of this room.

You will need a Ancient Nordic Pickaxe to get deeper in because of the Stalhrim Deposit to the West.

A hidden passage is revealed. Head on down the stairs to the door beyond it. Go on through it. This leads to a hallway with a far door.

Along the sides you will find numerous piles of gold. This is a great way to stock up on your money. Take your time in this hallway because you will find armor, potions, weapons and a few other things along with all the gold. A boss is just ahead so when you are ready, head over to the door and open it up.

Go on down the stairs leading into the chamber. Go across the chamber to the far eastern side. You will see a skeleton on a table. Approach it to find a sword lying there with it that you will be able to collect. The skeleton only has a little loot.

Approach it to find the unique Bloodscythe. Collect the sword to begin the boss fight of this barrow.

The entrance is through a master-locked iron door. Upon collecting the fourth piece of the Deathbrand armor treasure, you will gain the key that will open this door.
