Plum Green Tea Alcohol-Free Toner Review: Hello everyone. I hope you are all great and well. Today I am here with Plum Green Tea Toner which is also an Alcohol-Free Toner, that shrinks pores, gives even-tone skin, and is 100% vegan. Following is a quick FYI on this plum toner:

Available in: 200 ml alcohol-free

MRP: ₹ 390.00 for 200 mL and ₹ 149 for 50mL

Best suited for: Oily Acne-prone Combination skin

Not advised for: Cystic Acne Dry Extremely Sensitive Skin

There’s a very fine line between products that leave your oily skin feeling greasy, and ones that dry up your skin in the process of getting rid of excess oils. Our Plum Green Tea Toner exists exactly on that line. this alcohol-free toner is enriched with green tea extracts that combat acne, and glycolic acid that gently exfoliates and removes dead skin cells. After all, alcohol belongs in better places than your toner!

This face toner is the best-selling alcohol-free toner from Plum. Make this face toner an essential part of your skincare regimen for clear, smooth, well-toned skin. Astringency (tightness) on your skin that you can feel – great for enlarged pores. Antioxidant organic green tea extracts control blemishes and acne (pimples). And gentle exfoliation of debris and dead cells thanks to glycolic acid. 100% alcohol-free!

Face toner removes any last traces of dirt, grime and impurities stuck on your face after you wash your face.

When a face toner is added to your daily skincare routine and used regularly, it changes the appearance and tightness of your pores for good. A face toner also restores your skin’s pH level, smooths skin, provides glow to the skin, and improves skin tone and many other benefits.

If you have oily skin, and are prone to acne or wear makeup, you may especially benefit, because toner goes the extra mile to clean out and close-up pores.

The key ingredients in Plum Green tea toner are:

Green tea

A great natural astringent (tightens pores), green tea is also anti-inflammatory, and anti-bacterial, and provides the skin with nourishing anti-oxidants to decrease the signs of aging.

Glycolic acid

More famously used in peels, glycolic acid is an aha (alpha hydroxyl acid) that helps keep skin refreshed and renewed.

Glycerine

A non-comedogenic emollient results in skin that is softer to the touch.

Full Ingredients list: Aqua (Water), Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea) Leaf Extract, Ethylhexylglycerin, FDA Approved Colours, Fragrance Glycerin, Glycolic acid, Phenoxyethanol

After cleansing your face, take a small amount of this green tea toner and dab it onto your face either with a cotton ball or your hands. Let the toner air dry so your skin can effectively soak up the goodness, and follow with a moisturizer as per your skin type.

Below is in-detail review of Plum Green tea toner  and my experience with it:

The Plum Green Tea Alcohol-Free Toner comes in an opaque white plastic bottle with green labels. The packaging is usually large, 200 ml bottle. The one I bought is a trial pack which lasted for more than 3 weeks. The plum toner bottle has all the details labeled on it. The cap is press open cap and sturdy which makes it leak-proof.

The pack is travel friendly and I take it wherever I want so that I don’t miss using toner.

The texture and consistency of this Alcohol-free toner are just like water and transparent in color. When you pour this plum toner on your palm, it looks and feels like water except for its cooling sensation and mild herbal and pleasant fragrance. Its soothing fragrance is the foremost thing I loved about this green tea toner for the face which is mostly sweet and herbal, not strong like chemicals, and also it fades away as soon as you apply it, so it won’t bother sensitive noses.

This bottle of toner is not a spray bottle, just pour it on a cotton ball or pad or your palm and then dab it on your face. There is a chance of getting the product waste as sometimes I just spill too much of this on the cotton pad. I use a cotton ball to apply toner on my face in the upward direction to remove extra dirt and with a cotton ball, you can even see some dirt coming off your face on cotton.

I used this face toner twice a day after cleansing my face. It gives a tightening and cool feeling to my skin. My skin feels refreshed for some time.

After using this Plum Toner my skin feels smooth, oil-free, and clean but at the same time NOT DEHYDRATED. It feels smooth and soft. My skin is a combination type that is partly dry and partly oily, so when I used this green tea toner, my whole face felt equally smooth. No more, no less.

This Plum Green Tea toner didn’t cause me any break-outs, on the contrary, it reduced previous pimples (which weren’t much) and their marks on my cheeks.

The glycolic acid present in this plum toner helps in controlling acne and pimples and makes your skin refreshed and renew along with fading the acne marks which results in even skin tone. The glycerin acts as a moisturizer and provides smoothness to the skin. Green tea provides anti-aging and anti-inflammatory benefits to the skin.

All the plum toner ingredients make the skin look brighter and clearer by improving the skin texture.

The Plum Face Toner helps in tightening the open and enlarged pores but I could still see them. As soon as I used this toner on my face, it makes the pores look smaller but after some time they again get enlarged, I cannot say that this Plum Green Tea Toner helps in pore tightening

The Plum Toner is advised for oily, acne-prone, sensitive, and normal skin, however, dry skin people might not get the same benefits but still, you can try this face toner.

Overall, I would say that the Plum Green Tea Alcohol-Free toner is a must-keep product for all and is an amazing product for your skin care regimen, especially in summer.

Plum Green Tea Toner Price

₹ 390.00 for 200 mL

Plum Green Tea Toner benefits are amazing on the skin like moisturized and soft skin, and a healthy glow to the skin. A good quality face toner is a must for a daily skin care regimen so make sure to add this to your daily routine as per your skin type and make sure that it does not contain harmful chemicals like parabens and sulfates. Plum Green Tea Toner for the face is one of the best toners to use in daily life.

Hellooo people! This post is dedicated to all of you out there with oily (or tending towards oily) skin. We have had several Plumsters writing in to ask what's the "right way" to practise the CTMP regime. To refresh:

C is for Cleansing

T is for Toning

M is for Moisturization

P is for Protection

So we decided to capture the instructions for posterity with this blog post. It's worth mentioning that although we've used the Plum Green Tea range products (  specially made for oily skin) here to illustrate, the methodology described here is equally good for any products you choose to use. So here we go!

Product used: Green Tea Pore Cleansing Face Wash

Pro-tips: Use a cleanser before washing your face if you have makeup on. It's a good idea to use facewashes with scrubs in them, but try to alternate with a plain face wash too. Never, ever use soap on your face.

Instructions:

1. Wet your face with water. 2. Squeeze out a coin-sized amount of face wash on your palm. 3. Gently rub on your face, for a few seconds, slightly squeezing cellulose scrub beads. 4. Gently rinse away with water and pat dry with soft towel. 5. Now your face is ready for Green Tea Alcohol Free Toner.

Usage timing and frequency Use it twice (or thrice) a day, in the morning and before going to bed.

Product used: Green Tea Alcohol-Free Toner

Pro-tips:  Choose the right toner for your skin, mild and alcohol-free is ideal. Check out the suggested posts for more info on toners.

Instructions:

1. Pour out a little quantity on your palm and apply it on your face. Alternatively moisten a cotton ball with the Alcohol-Free Toner, and dab it softly in small circles across your face 2. Give special attention to T-Zone, forehead, nose and chin areas.3. Let the toner air dry, don't hurry to wipe it off.4. Now your face is toned and freshened up for the next step: moisturizing.

Usage timing and frequency Use twice (or thrice) a day, in the morning and before going to bed, post cleansing.

Product used: Green Tea Mattifying Moisturizer

Pro-tips: Choose a light, oil-free or non-comedogenic moisturizer for oily skin. Mild and natural is the way to go, brownie points if it comes with SPF( see Protection).

Instructions:

1. Squeeze out a tiny amount on your palm.2. Dot your face with the moisturizer. One dot each on forehead, both cheeks, nose and chin. That’s 5 dots totally.3. Now gently massage it into skin using finger-tips.

Usage timing and frequency Use twice (or thrice) a day - in the morning and before going to bed for hydrated soft shine oil-free matte skin.

Pro-tip: If you protect your skin from tanning and damage, you'll never have to do crazy things for the sake of fairness!

Always protect your skin from the harshness of the sun and its UV rays. Use a good sunscreen before stepping out, or use a moisturizer which already has decent SPF protection( SPF 30 is considered basic)

Product used: Green Tea Clear Face Mask

1. Gently apply a thin layer over all areas of the face, avoid eyes and lips area. 2. Wait for about 30 minutes or until the mask dries completely, keeping your face as still as possible. 3. Wash off with plain water.4. Do not scrub face with towel, gently pat dry.5. Gently hydrate your skin with Green Tea Mattifying Moisturizer to seal in the goodness ingredients.

Usage timing and frequency Use it once or twice a week – not more. Too much exfoliation is also not good. Don't apply it on bruised skin.

Product used: Green Tea Renewed Clarity Night Gel

You must have heard of night creams, but do they help oily skin? Your skin is at rest & undisturbed only at night, so its the best time for repair! It needs to rehydrate, fight free radicals damaging it and restore its natural glow. Aiding your skin in this repairing process with the right night cream is a very important part of skincare. The right night cream, such as the Green Tea Renewed Clarity Night Gel which is loaded with antioxidants, argan oil and plant nutrients- ensures balanced hydration minus the oiliness and clogged pores. Beauty sleep, indeed!

1. Post your nightly C-T-M, take a small amount of the night gel with your fingers.2. Apply on your neck and face (don't worry, it's pillow-proof!) and tuck yourself in for the night 3. Wake up to supple, glowing and amazingly fragrant skin!

Usage timing and frequencyUse once every night, just before going to bed. Trust us, your skin will thank you!
