I had this issue! The Control Panel method mentioned by the other user is the most common fix. Another quick thing to try is using the keyboard shortcut Windows Key + X, then press U, and then S. This should immediately put your computer to sleep. If that works, then the function is there, it was just hidden from the menu. Also, if you're using a laptop, make sure your lid close action is set to sleep (in the same Power Options menu). Cheers!

If the Sleep option is missing from your Power menu, here's how to get it back:
- Check Power Settings: Go to Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Power Options. On the left, click "Choose what the power buttons do." Then, click "Change settings that are currently unavailable." Now, scroll down and make sure the "Sleep" checkbox is ticked under "Shutdown settings."
- Update Graphics Drivers: Sometimes outdated drivers can hide the sleep option. Update your GPU drivers from the manufacturer's website (NVIDIA, AMD, or Intel).
- Check BIOS/UEFI Settings: Rarely, a setting in your BIOS might disable sleep states. You can enter your BIOS during startup (usually by pressing F2 or Del) and look for power management options like "ACPI Suspend State" and ensure it's enabled. Be careful in the BIOS though!
This usually fixes the problem. Hope it helps!
