I have tried this on various handsets, it is not working on few models.Honor Android phoneNot working with videosOne PlusNot working with videosSamsungWorking with videosiPhone 6Working with videosSony DSLR cameraWorking with videoAlthough where ever it's working the quality is good.But Is this not compatible with all android handsets?Or is there some settings which I need to do.Please let me know{Edit}In some android handsets the stock camera app does not allow audio to be picked from external source like a hands free or lapel mic.You have to install the Open Camera app from playstore.This app works great in recording videos.

The mic is very good.It picks up sound equally from all around the microphone making it best to use for making you tube videos and for other personal use.Its 78 inches long cord makes possible the podcasting at a distance with your recording device and its clip easily clips on your shirt collar for sound recording.It has a very stylish clip.It has a 3-pin pin that you can use with your camera, mobile phone, laptop, and/or PC.It captures the voice of the host in a way that no other mics can.The sound quality in videos is very good.I can assure you that this particular mic is the best among them, after using some of the mics in this price range.Overall, quality, accessories, price and ease of use make this mic a recommendation for all who are looking for a good mic in a budget.The wire is not easy to break.Go for it and forget about it.The result I got in my recordings was really good.The packaging is very good and it is easy to keep.

If your videos don't depend on your sound, don't spend money on costly mics.It's sound quality is good and clear and does the job for your videos, but if your videos mostly depend on sound quality, you should buy another brand.The difference between the two mics is only 30%, but it depends on what kind of room you are recording in, some rooms reflect too much sound.

Maono has succeeded in buying quality at a very affordable range.There are lavalier mics that are either too expensive or not worth buying.The mic is light.It's suitable for a small show.It is possible to meet on software such asZoom.The mic4 was immediately recognized by Audacity.The long cable is long.Extra plug and bigger plug.The "Pin" needs a better design.It is not a helpful accessory.That's not good.The microphone can slip during rapid back and forth.The mic's grip is not as good as it used to be.The reason being the grip isn't meant for casual T-shirt.It grips albeit not as tightly as one might have hopedTip-Buy this along with a splitter to make the most of this micAlso, if you use Audacity use noise profile and then noise cancellation.Since this is a omnidirectional it will pick up noises from all around the place.While subjective use normalization of 2.0-3.0 dB for better podcast voice.
