‘Rocky’ stunned the 'Nigerian Nightmare' at UFC 278 last August to become the second British champion in the company’s history.

The Birmingham fighter will now headline the UFC's first numbered card to be held on these shores since 2016.

It’ll be Edward's third meeting with Usman and they are currently tied at one win apiece with the latter picking up a unanimous decision victory when they first fought back in 2015.

UFC 286 is scheduled to take place on Saturday, March 18 and is being held at The O2 Arena in London.

The card will begin at 6pm while coverage of the main event will get underway from 9pm.

Edwards vs Usman can then be expected at around 10:30pm.

The event will be pay-per-view in the UK and will be shown on BT Sport Box Office for a price of £19.95 HERE.

The UFC 286 early prelims will be show on BT Sport 1 from 7pm before switching over to Box Office for the main card.

You can live stream the action on the BT Sport app, which is available on your smart TV, laptop, mobile, tablet and console.

talkSPORT will have all the build-up to the event throughout fight week while talkSPORT.com will also be running a live blog.

Edwards has admitted he has one eye on a potential fight with Jorge Masvidal heading into his first welterweight title defence.

Edwards told talkSPORT.com: “That’s a fight I feel needs to happen. Not just for me, but for the fans to see the difference in skillset and everything.

“You know, he’s coming off a three-fight losing streak, it’s difficult to fight.

The 35-year-old former kick-boxing superstar has only fought four times in UFC and this rematch is undoubtedly his biggest encounter to date as he seeks to take a firm grip of the weight division.

Pereira was Adesanya's first conqueror in a middleweight clash. Adesanya will be determined to reclaim the title he had held since 2019.

Also on the card, Gilbert Burns takes on Jorge Masvidal, Rob Font faces Adrian Yanez and Kevin Holland collides with Santiago Ponzinibbio on the main card.
