I actually went through this last year when my credit card was cloned. I filed my complaint at cybercrime.gov.in. The portal is user-friendly. I had to create a login, upload screenshots, and explain the fraud. Within 24 hours, I got a call from local cyber police. So my suggestion: always file online first, then follow up at your police station if needed.
