UDM is Unified Data Management. It is a very important part of the 5G mobile network. You can think of it like a central database for the network. It holds all the subscription information for the users.

Its main job is to check who you are when you connect. It also checks what services you can use. In the old 4G networks, this data was in different places. The UDM puts all this data together. So, it is very central for the 5G to work correctly. I hope my English is okay.

TBD in PI Network usually means "To Be Determined." Sometimes people also use it as "To Be Defined." But in both cases, it means something is not decided or announced yet. It is a very common term on the internet, not just in PI.

In the context of PI Network, you will see "TBD" a lot when people talk about the mainnet and the future. The biggest thing that is TBD is the actual value of the PI coin. The core team has not set a price yet. They are still building the ecosystem and the mainnet is in an enclosed period. So the value is truly "to be determined" by the market later.

You might also see TBD for specific dates. For example, someone might ask, "When will the mainnet be fully open?" And the answer could be "TBD" because the team has not given a final date. They are working on it and will tell us when they know.

Another place is for new features. The PI Network roadmap might have a cool new utility or app planned. But if the details are not finished, its release date or how it will work could be listed as TBD. It just means the team is still figuring it out. They have a plan, but the fine details are not ready to share.

So, whenever you see TBD in a PI chat or on a forum, just know it means we are all waiting for more information. It is not a bad thing. It is normal for a big project like this. It shows that things are still moving and decisions are being made carefully. We just have to be patient for those answers.
