What is udm?

UDM is Unified Data Management. It is a very important part of the 5G mobile network. You can think of it like a central database for the network. It holds all the subscription information for the users.

Its main job is to check who you are when you connect. It also checks what services you can use. In the old 4G networks, this data was in different places. The UDM puts all this data together. So, it is very central for the 5G to work correctly. I hope my English is okay.
