If you look at Google Maps, you’ll find Tumbbad village on the western side of Maharashtra, not far from the Arabian Sea. It’s one of many villages in the Ratnagiri district, which is known for Alphonso mangoes and scenic beaches. So yes, Tumbbad is real, and it’s in Maharashtra.
