This is the sweet spot for Indian conditions - high enough to handle terrible roads but not so high that it affects stability at speed. The approach and departure angles should also be decent thanks to the balanced weight distribution of the skateboard battery platform. For comparison, that's better than most sedans (160-170 mm) and comparable to popular SUVs, so you shouldn't have to worry about bottoming out except in the most extreme situations.

While Tata hasn't released official figures yet, based on the motor specifications and similar Tata EVs, the Curvv EV is expected to have a top speed of around 160-170 km/h. This is electronically limited, as most EVs are, to preserve battery life and ensure safety. The acceleration should be quite brisk though - expect 0-100 km/h in under 8 seconds thanks to the instant torque characteristic of electric motors. The top speed is more than adequate for Indian conditions where even highways rarely allow speeds above 120 km/h legally.

Having followed Tata's EV launches for a while, the token amount typically ranges between ₹20,000-₹25,000 for their premium models. For the Curvv EV specifically, multiple sources including EV enthusiast blogs are reporting ₹21,000 as the confirmed amount. This is actually quite reasonable compared to some competitors who charge upwards of ₹30,000. The amount is completely refundable within their specified period, so there's not much risk in securing your booking early, especially with the expected high demand.
