I just finished the main story last night and my save file clocked in at 38 hours. I did a bunch of side quests, probably about half of them, and explored a lot just for the sheer joy of it. The pacing feels great—it never dragged, but it also didn't feel rushed. There's a solid, meaty campaign here that respects your time while still offering a vast world to get lost in if you choose to.

As of now, the Collector's Edition is completely sold out through all major retailers. It was a limited run and it went incredibly fast. Your best bet now would be to check secondary markets like eBay, but be prepared to pay a significant markup over the original price. The standard and deluxe editions are still readily available for pre-order, however. Sometimes retailers get very small restocks closer to launch from canceled orders, so it doesn't hurt to keep checking, but I wouldn't get my hopes up.

The parallel is definitely there—both are monikers that strike fear into the enemy—but the context is what sets it apart. Jin's "Ghost" was a strategic identity. Atsu's "Onryō" is a spiritual one. When the enemies whisper about the Onryō, they're talking about a spectral figure that can appear from the mist and command the elements, which is a step beyond the more grounded fear of the Ghost of Tsushima. It's a really cool evolution of the concept that fits the new game's tone perfectly.

I'd second the weapon advice, but I have a couple of exploration-focused tips: * Follow the Gold Birds: Just like in the first game, if you see a gold bird flying, stop what you're doing and follow it! They lead you directly to hidden Hot Springs, Shrines, and sometimes important collectibles or minor quests. They are essentially free map markers and save you a lot of time wandering. * Check Out Bounties: Seriously, don't ignore the bounty board. They’re not just for money (though the cash is good); some of the most interesting side characters and one-off stories are in the bounties, and you often get unique masks, charms, or even rare upgrade materials as rewards. They’re a great way to learn the map and practice against new enemy types without committing to a full main mission.

Don't forget about the new tool-based weapons! You have access to a Grappling Hook not just for traversal, but also in combat to pull enemies towards you or pull yourself to certain larger enemies for a special attack. There's also a Spirit Cannon, a charm that channels energy to fire a powerful, single-shot blast that can stagger even the biggest enemies. It's on a long cooldown, but it's a great "oh crap" button.

They also have their own internal rivalries and conflicts, which you can sometimes exploit through side quests. It makes the world feel more alive and less like everyone is just waiting for you to show up. You get the sense that the Yōtei Six were a functioning (if tyrannical) regime before you started disrupting their plans.
