The climax was a bit predictable. You could guess the hero will win, but the way they connected it to the sacred scriptures gave a nice twist. So partly predictable, partly surprising.

I felt the villain’s motivations were stronger than usual, so it surprised me. He was not fighting only for power, but also for his belief system. That gave freshness to the climax.
