What are your expectations on mileage and performance from the Tata Punch Facelift?

Mileage and performance expectations are moderate. I don’t think Punch Facelift is about big engine upgrades. It is mainly a design and feature update. So buyers should not expect very different numbers.

I expect mileage to remain similar to the current Punch, maybe around 18–19 kmpl for petrol and 26+ km/kg for CNG. Performance will be the same, because engine is same. Only difference will be comfort and driving feel due to new features.

Performance wise, I hope Tata tunes the engine better. Current Punch feels a little underpowered on highways. If they make throttle response sharper in facelift, then it will be much better. Mileage should not change much, unless the car becomes heavier due to new features.
