Think of the April Theses as a radical new game plan for the Russian Revolution. Vladimir Lenin announced these ideas in April 1917, right after he returned to Russia. His theses were a set of directives for his Bolshevik party.
Essentially, Lenin called for three big things. First, an immediate end to Russia’s involvement in World War I ("Peace"). Second, giving land to the peasants ("Land").
