At Cognizant Digital Engineering, we ideate and develop innovative software solutions with our clients. Working in Cognizant Digital Engineering is fast paced and exhilarating. We are seeking a seasoned individual to join our Product Management Leadership Team reporting to our VP Global Head of Product Management. As a key thought leader in one of Cognizant’s most strategically important and fastest-growing practices, this product management leader will operate on a global scale to define the vision, strategy, priorities, methods and practices associated with product management within their product area (PA), serve as a trusted advisor to clients and provide inspiring leadership on multiple dimensions across Cognizant and with key stakeholders.
In this role, you will oversee the MLEU (Manufacturing, Logistics, Energy and Utilities) PA consisting of product solutions that maximize market advantage and scale throughout this vertical hub. You will craft industry leading solutions for our clients aligned with achieving their key business objectives while ensuring discovery and focus around the problem spaces that maximize business value and long-term outcomes. This individual has a proven track record leading and winning deals, as well as developing and aligning products and capabilities to empower product development teams to create outcome driven experiences and solutions that meet and exceed client and customer expectations.
The ideal candidate will possess expertise in digital engineering, cloud native development and product management and have a proven track record building and scaling a successful practice (over $100M) across global markets and key industry domains. As a product leader for this PA, in addition to driving delivery excellence, product strategy and the roadmap, this individual will also maintain significant personal client engagement and must have proven track record as a trusted advisor to the “C suite” plus successful delivery of services and solutions in global technology intensive environments.
The ideal candidate must be a strategic thinker with strong product management instincts that drive innovation and efficiencies of scale. They’re passionate about product management, and enjoy helping others mature as seasoned product managers. The ideal candidate is comfortable with ambiguity and moving forward with imperfect information. They excel at leading, effectively aligning team members as well as client stakeholders and executives around a shared set of objectives to progress the goal of shipping a product that delights its clients and their users. Furthermore, they judge their success by the success of their team and the happiness of our clients.
