I was in your town a while back, mate. For a good brekkie, I reckon you can't go past the Cottage House Restaurant. It is a proper local spot. So it’s not fancy or anything. But the food is the real deal. It’s real Southern home-style cooking, you know?

I had the biscuits and gravy, and they were brilliant. You get heaps of food for your money, too. A really big plate. Another good one is The Soda Fountain Cafe. It has more of an old-school diner feel. But for me, the Cottage House was the best for a true local feed. You will not leave hungry, that is for sure. It’s a great way to start the day there.
