What is the recruitment process for 12th pass government clerical jobs?

For state clerical jobs, each state conducts its own exam. Syllabus is almost same but includes local language questions also.

I cleared SSC CHSL in 2019. The exam tested reasoning, English, maths, and GK. Typing speed requirement was 35 words per minute. With practice, it is manageable.

SSC CHSL exam is the main route. It has written test, typing test, and document verification. After clearing, you get posting in central offices.
