wlan0 is a common name, but my wireless interface is called wlp3s0. edit /etc/network/interfaces with wlp3s0 instead of wlan0 · 0 · ubuntu 18. sudo ip link set wlp3s0 up. wlo1 is a wireless network interface (NIC). Then I checked ifconfig and found only lo, but wlp3s0 was completely gone.
